A refined silk-blend taffeta with a crisp, dry handle and a gentle, papery rustle, this fabric offers a luminous balance of structure and shimmer. Made in France, it combines the lustre of silk (50%) with the light resilience of polyester, giving it an excellent body while remaining light and flexible.

The surface is detailed with a finely woven gold lurex grid—an understated jacquard that adds both texture and sparkle without overwhelming the fabric’s elegance. At 160cm wide, it’s generously sized for full skirts, sculptural eveningwear, sharp tailoring, or formal separates.

Ideal for cocktail dresses, opera coats, or contemporary bridalwear, the fabric recalls the metallic finesse seen in collections by Dries Van Noten or the subtle brilliance of early Lanvin couture. The lurex thread catches the light softly, making it especially effective for garments that move or fold dramatically.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Dry clean only

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.
