Produced by Ratti, this fine Italian cotton lawn is lightweight, breathable and beautifully soft, with a smooth handle and fluid drape that make it ideal for comfortable, elegant clothing. Its fine construction works particularly well with detailed prints, while remaining light enough for warm-weather dressing.

The design is a rich, painterly floral, with abundant blooms and leafy foliage arranged in loose, organic clusters across a soft ivory ground. Deep raspberry, magenta and plum flowers are complemented by touches of coral, peach and terracotta, while delicate powder-blue blossoms add a cooler contrast. Broad, expressive brushstrokes and softly blurred background foliage give the print the feel of a hand-painted botanical artwork rather than a formal repeat.

A beautiful choice for romantic summer dresses, flowing midi or maxi dresses, gathered skirts and feminine blouses. It would also work wonderfully for a softly tailored shirt or wide-leg trousers, particularly where the larger floral groupings can be allowed to make an impact. The painterly character lends itself especially well to relaxed, vintage-inspired silhouettes reminiscent of the romantic floral dresses seen throughout Italian and French fashion, while a simple contemporary dress would give the print a more modern feel.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Do not Dry Clean, Machine washable at 30°C, Line dry, Iron before wearing.

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.
