Woven in France, this silk–cotton brocade (73% cotton, 19% silk, 8% other fibres) combines natural softness with a refined sheen. The fabric has a lightly structured hand with a gentle, sculptural drape, making it suitable for designs that balance form and elegance.

The design shimmers with a mottled effect of warm coral over a golden base, enhanced by a subtle metallic glint that shifts with the light. Its abstract, sun-dappled surface recalls impressionist painting or gilded frescoes.

Ideal for statement jackets, structured skirts, cocktail dresses, or evening coats, this fabric lends itself to couture-inspired silhouettes. It echoes the kind of luminous brocades seen in Dries Van Noten’s modern metallics or the rich jacquards favoured by Jacques Fath and Balmain in mid-century couture, while remaining versatile for contemporary styling.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Dry clean only

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.
