Produced by Ratti, this fine Italian cotton lawn is lightweight, breathable and beautifully smooth, with the soft handle and easy drape associated with a quality lawn. Its fine construction makes it particularly well suited to feminine dresses, blouses and lightweight separates, while allowing the intricate print to remain the focus.

The design combines delicate, vintage-inspired floral bouquets with a striking geometric backdrop. Peony-like blooms, hydrangea clusters and smaller flowers are drawn in fine, almost illustrative detail, with subtle shades of powder blue and lilac emerging from a sophisticated palette of dove grey, taupe, ivory and charcoal. Behind the flowers, angular shapes create a softly architectural effect, giving the traditional floral a surprisingly modern dimension.

Beautiful for tea dresses, softly gathered day dresses, blouses, full skirts and elegant shirt dresses. A simple 1940s-inspired dress or high-waisted skirt would complement its vintage character particularly well, while a more pared-back shift or wide-leg trouser would bring out the contemporary geometry of the print. It would also make a lovely blouse paired with plain tailoring, allowing the intricate floral bands to do the talking.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Do not Dry Clean, Machine washable at 30°C, Line dry, Iron before wearing.

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.
