A beautifully refined Italian silk crepe, produced by the renowned Ratti mill for Valentino. Ratti has a long-standing reputation for producing fine Italian silks and working with leading fashion houses, with floral compositions among its characteristic high-fashion textile themes.

The design features loose, painterly bouquets of roses and other blooms scattered across a deep, smoky ground. The flowers are rendered in soft ivory, grey, blush and muted green, giving the print a romantic, almost watercolour quality while the darker background lends it a more sophisticated, slightly moody character.

Light, fluid and beautifully draping, this silk crepe moves effortlessly with the body and would be particularly suited to bias-cut dresses, softly gathered blouses, flowing skirts or elegant evening separates. The painterly floral aesthetic feels very much at home within Valentino's long tradition of romantic, expressive prints; the house continues to explore floral motifs in contemporary collections, including its recent Flowerism designs.

The same design is also available in a silk organza base in a different colourway, offering a more translucent and ethereal interpretation of the print.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Dry clean only

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.
