Produced in Italy for the legendary textile designer Ken Scott, this striking silk crepe captures the playful spirit that earned him the nickname “the gardener of fashion.” Crafted from fine silk crepe, the fabric has a softly textured matte surface, fluid movement and a supple drape that falls beautifully without clinging. It glides easily over the body, making it a pleasure both to wear and to sew.
The design is a lively patchwork of graphic black-and-white squares scattered with cheerful florals in vibrant tones, interspersed with playful polka dots and checks. The effect feels delightfully retro yet modern—echoing the bold mixed prints that characterised the exuberant prints of the late 1960s and 1970s, often revisited by houses such as Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana in contemporary collections.
Perfect for statement shirts, flowing dresses, pyjama-style tailoring or wide-leg trousers, this fabric offers a wonderful opportunity to play with the geometry of the print when cutting garments, allowing different squares and florals to frame seams, panels or pockets.

Colour Accuracy and Sample Advisory
We stock a huge collection of fabrics and do our best to describe the colour of each piece, both online and when you call us. Try as we might, we can never guarantee exact colours or colour matching, simply because of the multitude of variations in shade, as well as the way colours and colour settings vary by device and monitor. To make an informed decision on your fabric's colour, texture, weight and movement, we encourage you to order a sample before placing a larger order.
