Produced by Ratti exclusively for Desai Fabrics, this fine Italian cotton lawn is lightweight, breathable and beautifully smooth, with the delicate handle and easy drape that make lawn such a pleasure to wear. Despite its fine quality, it has enough body to lend definition to dresses, blouses and softly gathered silhouettes.

The design is a richly painterly arrangement of oversized roses, hydrangea-like clusters and generous foliage, scattered across a deep burgundy ground. Soft powder blue, taupe, blush and charcoal tones give the floral composition a slightly vintage, painterly character, while the large-scale blooms create real impact. The substantial flower motifs make this particularly effective when used across a full garment, rather than being confined to small details.

Ideal for romantic shirt dresses, full skirts, flowing blouses, gathered day dresses or elegant pyjama-style separates. It would also work beautifully in a relaxed maxi dress, where the scale of the florals can really come into its own. The overall mood has something of the grand botanical prints and painterly florals seen in classic Italian fashion, while remaining wonderfully wearable.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Do not Dry Clean, Machine washable at 30°C, Line dry, Iron before wearing.

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.
