A dramatic reinvention of silk chiffon, this Italian-made crinkle silk chiffon is finished with a matt charcoal shimmer foil print, which lends it a unique, structured drape and a mesmerising contrast of light and dark. The fabric remains featherlight, but the foil application subtly slows its movement, giving it a more deliberate, sculptural flow than traditional chiffons.
The design features an abstract interplay of pixelated, almost digital motifs rendered in metallic charcoal against saturated purples, allowing for creative cutting, layering, or inside-out garment detailing.
Ideal for statement evening blouses, dramatic scarves, tiered dresses or asymmetric panels, this fabric brings a contemporary edge to soft silhouettes. The graphic yet textural effect is reminiscent of pioneering prints seen in Issey Miyake.
