This very fine cotton poplin is an expressive celebration of abstract calligraphy — a rhythmic composition of brush-drawn marks and abstract floral motifs, evoking the spontaneity of ink on paper. Crafted in Italy, the mid-weight fabric has a smooth, cool hand and a crisp handle, making it ideal for shirts, wrap dresses, or pleated skirts that hold their shape while draping fluidly. 

The layered design features tonal clusters of blue, blush, lilac, and soft amber, with motifs that resemble blooming forms or symbolic characters — a kind of visual poetry in motion. It brings to mind the art-infused fabrics of Issey Miyake or early Kenzo, where fashion and print felt inseparable from gesture and movement.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Machine washable at 30°C, line dry and gently steam press before wearing.

Do not Tumble Dry. Do not Dry Clean.

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a light lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.
