Produced in Italy by the renowned Ratti mill for Escada, this beautifully fluid silk crepe combines a luxurious feel with a wonderfully playful fashion illustration. The lightweight silk has a soft, fluid drape and graceful movement, making it particularly suited to garments designed to flow and move with the body.

The print is a graphic collage of fashion and dressmaking motifs, scattered across a dark ground. Illustrated shoes, dresses, corsets, handbags, hatboxes, mannequins, sewing scissors and tape measures are picked out in ivory and vivid red, giving the design the feel of a fashion sketchbook brought to life. Small details, including the Escada lettering, add to its character.

It would make a striking shirt, pussy-bow blouse, flowing dress or wide-leg trouser, while a simple bias-cut silhouette would allow the illustrated motifs to take centre stage. The exuberant mixture of fashion references and strong graphic contrast feels particularly in keeping with Escada's long-established enthusiasm for expressive prints and confident femininity.

Fabrics, trims or anything cut to size are non-returnable and not exchangeable.

Buttons, motifs, or anything sold as a whole item (not cut as fabric must be), may be exchanged or returned within 14 days of receipt, for a refund (minus shipping costs).  Returned items must be in the original packaging, intact, and in the same condition as purchased. Refunds for items returned damaged or in unsellable condition will not be processed.

Dry clean only

Whilst the fabric is opaque, we recommend adding a lining to give the garment structure, shape, and a comfortable fit.

We stock a huge collection of fabrics and do our best to describe the colour of each piece, both online and when you call us.  Try as we might, we can never guarantee exact colours or colour matching, simply because of the multitude of variations in shade, as well as the way colours and colour settings vary by device and monitor.
