An artful silk crepe jacquard from the renowned mill, Ratti, made in Italy for Emanuel Ungaro. The fabric features a fine polka dot jacquard weave, which appears subtly on the surface and shimmers to life when the fabric is in motion — a discreet detail that adds sophistication to its matte crepe texture.
The design is a striking mix of nostalgic and ornamental — classic paisley flourishes encase softly curved panels of polka dots in a pastel palette, with a layout that hints at vintage scarves, patchwork silks, and 1970s Italian couture. The drape is soft and fluid, ideal for garments that need movement and flow, such as wrap dresses, tiered skirts, or blouson-sleeved tops.
This print would suit statement silhouettes, particularly those that can play with the print’s symmetry and contrast. Think retro-inspired midi dresses, pussy-bow blouses, or even dramatic palazzo trousers. The mood is unapologetically fun, reminiscent of Ungaro’s bold prints in the 1980s and the joyful layering seen on icons like Sophia Loren or in the modern resortwear of brands like La DoubleJ.

Colour Accuracy and Sample Advisory
We stock a huge collection of fabrics and do our best to describe the colour of each piece, both online and when you call us. Try as we might, we can never guarantee exact colours or colour matching, simply because of the multitude of variations in shade, as well as the way colours and colour settings vary by device and monitor. To make an informed decision on your fabric's colour, texture, weight and movement, we encourage you to order a sample before placing a larger order.
